Today KS1 and KS2 attended Street Dance workshops. We hope to offer this as an after school club in the near future. Details to follow.

Today we hosted visitors from the Beacon CE Primary School, Liverpool. They were interested in how we use Frog, our Learning Platform, as well as our Fizzbook project.

This morning, Chris Foy a part time local policeman and a Premiership Referee, spoke to the children during an assembly. He shared his experiences as a referee and talked about the importance of education, friendships and the dangers of social networks. As part of their IPC topic, Y4 are visiting the Wild Flower Centre today. One group has just been dropped off and the second group will visit this afternoon.

Today we welcomed staff from a school in Hull. They spent time in classes across the school observing best practice. They were very impressed with a number of things, including the behaviour of our children and their use and knowledge of ICT! 

We had an unexpected visitor today who wanted to play with the children on the yard. He was returned to his owner, although the children would have liked him to stay a little longer!

The hall was turned into an aviary this morning when we were visited by the Welsh Bird of Prey Centre. Visit our class pages to see the photographs.
