A report published today claims 1/3 of children leave primary school unable to swim. This is not the case at CVP. Our present Y6 will leave in the summer with every child being able to swim at least 25 metres. This is a result of our commitment to ensure every child is able to swim when they leave Key Stage 2. Each class has a dedicated block of 6-8 weeks when they have swimming lessons three times a week.

This week we welcomed two visiting schools, Sacred Heart Primary and Emmaus Primary along with a Local Authority Officer. They came to see how we use ICT across our creative curriculum. They were very impressed!
